About the exams:
IPM is private institute active in Pune since 1995. In Mumbai this exam started in the year 2000. The student will be given examination center closest to his residence, tentative locations of centers are Dadar, Vile-Parle, Vidya Vihar, Mulund, Kalyan, New Mumbai, and Panvel. The exams are usually held on Saturday/Sundays From 2001, we, at 'Sohani Academy' offer enrollment & official coaching for the same.The curriculum covers the academic state board syllabus of the given standard, plus, around 20% portion of the next standard in it. The exams are conducted at two levels. A practice exam is conducted in February & Final exams in March of the same year. The practice exam is not the eligibility criteria for the finals. All the students are to give both the exams The prospectus/form for the exams will be available after June. The exam fee is Rs.175/- per student. Material & coaching charges will be extra. The results for the practice exams are conveyed on query on calling at the Institute, in Pune. The intimation about exact date, time and venue of the exam (i.e. Hall Ticket) reaches school in the last week of January. The final mark sheet of the students with marks for both the exams reaches the respective Schools by July end. The first five Toppers of each standard will get trophies along with monetary scholarships. The first 150 children of each standard receive scholarships according to the predecided slots in the form of cheque along with their result sheets. All students scoring above 30% marks will receive a passing certificate.

Paper pattern:
1) 100 marks paper of 1 hour 15 minutes duration.
2) 50 questions with 4 options each will be given.
3) The number of the correct option to be written in the blank square on the answer sheet.
